This event caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was one of the people hurt during the incident. Five people required hospital care and were later discharged.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and not being treated as terrorism – caused train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
