Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

This young athlete has impressive online presence

The young golfer can count on multiple well-known backers when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns multiple international courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa basically told me to play and have fun," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in only three events this year and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.

"He is the best player in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, especially reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and just introduced her own clothing and lifestyle brand.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
