Homages Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

More than two weeks following the shocking loss of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he finally felt ready to share openly about his profound loss.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can finally express my sorrow into words," shared Elwes, saying that his initial encounter with Reiner created an instant bond. "Once we started passing more hours together I realized this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the film, adding that he doesn't recollect "a single day without laughter".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a different piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he understood the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Sealed

This week, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the local authorities.

A court order issued a embargo on the files to prohibit the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" connected to the active case.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of foul play, with a official listing listing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Response and Criticism

Following the tragedy, public figures shared different responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, offering divisive remarks that were widely condemned by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the detractors last week. Talking on his podcast, Rogan labeled the statements as "disappointing" and implied they revealed a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by suggesting that an aide could have intervened when the impulse to weigh in on the death was made.
